Basin Lucy was the top selling bred cow at the 2020 Nile female sale at a price of $52,000 for half-interest.  She is a daughter of Basin Lucy 1037, a foundation cow of Basin Angus. Basin Lucy 4288 is the dam of six bulls that contributed significantly to the Basin 2022 Performance Sale, including Basin Deposit 6249 who was the highest value sire group with Basin Jameson 1076 who sold for $600,000.  She is a deep-bodied cow, uniformly thick, with good feet and strong carcass merit.
