Hello Friends,

 

It is SALE time again.  I want to take this opportunity to share with you some of the changes to this year's event that we are excited about.

 

For the first time ever, our annual production sale will be held here at the ranch on Monday, December 9th, 2024, just outside of Pony, MT. The auction will begin sharply at 1:00pm MT, and the bulls are available for viewing at the ranch any time prior to the sale. Please come early to sort through the sale offering, view herd sires, and take advantage of the complimentary lunch that we will be serving.

 

Featured in this year’s sale are approximately 95 head of PAP-tested, 19-21 month coming two-year bulls that have been developed with the rancher’s best interest in mind. In addition to a really stout bull offering, we intend on selling approximately 40 commercial heifers and 3-yr old cows. 

 

Our genetic program continues to emphasize moderate, deep,  thick bulls with good feet, docility, longevity. Our cow herd must emphasize fertility, longevity, and the other maternal traits that keep the commercial cattlemen in business. In order to best meet the needs of our ranchers and customers, we have created a bull development program that focuses on developing range bulls in large pastures with rough and diverse terrain, with sufficient but minimal feed resources. In short, our goal is to provide our customers with bulls that won’t melt, and can cover cows in diverse environments.

 

We are equally as excited for you to meet our new team members here at the ranch! Chace Iverson, our new ranch manager and his wife Emily, Sean Mattice helps oversee the cow herd , and Dave Mullins our Marketing Manager. Of course, I’d be remised if I didn’t thank my wife Carolyn for all of her contributions here at the ranch.

 

This year the sale will again feature numerous sons of Sitz Profound, who has produced several top selling and high valued sons and daughters across the country and  Canada.  Other prominent sires include:
